The intelligent party branch of the Electric Power Department and the party branches of relevant units officially launched the party building joint construction activities with the theme of "welcoming the Expo and fighting for 80 days. The five grass-roots party organizations participating in the joint construction are: the Branch Committee of the Facilities Management Office of the Shanghai Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Management Committee of the Communist Party of China, the General Branch Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Comprehensive Urban Management Affairs Center (Shanghai Underground Pipeline Supervision Affairs Center), the Construction and Transportation Committee of the Shanghai Changning District of the Communist Party of China, the Communist Party of China Shanghai Urban Construction Design and Research Institute (Group) Co., Ltd. Smart City Branch Committee.
The "Overhead Line Landing and Pole Joining Project" in Changning District is a project launched to support the first China International Import Expo held in Shanghai in November. It is also one of the key projects in Shanghai this year. The project has a tight schedule and difficult construction. The five units participating in the joint construction of the party shall each undertake the relevant work of the project. Among them, the Electric Science and Technology Intelligence is responsible for the specific implementation of the project. Not long ago, Secretary Li Qiang made a special trip to the project site to inspect the progress of the project and expressed his cordial condolences to the intelligent project team of the Electric Branch.
The purpose of the joint construction of party building by the five units is to connect the party organizations of the relevant business units more closely, to be interconnected in the process of party organization construction and project implementation, to work together to successfully complete the joint project in Changning District, so as to escort the smooth convening of the "Expo.
The official signing ceremony and pledging ceremony were held on August 17, 2018 in the new energy building of electric science group. The participants included the leaders of the municipal construction and transportation party committee, the heads of the joint construction party organizations and representatives of party members. Chen Hongjie, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Group, attended the meeting on behalf of the Party Committee of the Group. The meeting was presided over by Ping Qilin, Secretary and General Manager of the Intelligent Party Branch of Electric Science.
The conference first held a signing ceremony for the joint construction of party building, and then the leaders of the participating units awarded the flag to the representatives of the party members of the "Pioneer Team of Party Members" and all the participants took an oath on the theme of "Serving the Expo, Unity and Cooperation. After that, the leaders delivered a summary speech and mobilized the pledging teachers.
Zhu Chengyu, Secretary of the Party branch and director of the facilities management office of the Municipal Commission of housing and urban rural development, pointed out that carrying out the renovation of overhead lines into the ground and poles is an important task for the municipal Party committee and the municipal government to implement the requirements of the central government for Shanghai to strengthen the fine management of the city. It is also a major measure to ensure the safety of urban operation and improve the quality of the city, the directive spirit of "ensuring the successful completion of the first China International Import Expo" will form a joint force of the party and government, urban areas, and government and enterprises to jointly advance, face difficulties, and do a good job in the important matter of overhead lines entering the ground and joining poles.
Wu Daoqun, member and deputy director of the Party Working Committee of the Changning District Construction and Transportation Commission, said: The Changning District Committee and District Government attaches great importance to the rectification of overhead lines into the ground and the joint pole. In the next 80 days, through party building and joint construction, continue to concentrate and fight; continue to work closely and work together; continue to go all out and work together to complete this major task, in order to ensure the smooth convening of the first fair, we will gather our efforts and contribute.
Zhang Ming, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Municipal Urban Comprehensive Management Center (Pipeline Supervision Center), and Shen Ming, Dean of the Smart City Institute of the Municipal Urban Construction Institute, also said at the meeting: During the critical period of project implementation, we must be more firm and pragmatic to carry out unity and cooperation. Work together to ensure the successful completion of this project.
Chen Hongjie, deputy secretary of the party committee of the group, delivered a speech on behalf of the party committee of the group and the intelligent party branch of the electric branch: our electric branch will actively play the vanguard and exemplary role of party members and the fighting fortress role of the party branch, carry out safe and scientific construction, ensure the timely completion of the project, and ensure the quality of the project. And will further promote the construction of grass-roots party organizations, educate party members based on their posts, at the two levels of party affairs and business work, we should earnestly and conscientiously learn from all fraternal units, and strive to take party building and joint construction as the starting point, so as to form a good situation of mutual promotion, benign interaction and common improvement between party building and business.
Before the meeting, the leaders and comrades also visited the exhibition hall on the first floor, listened to the introduction and explanation of the group's development history and main business as well as the classic business cases of electric science and technology, and took photos as a souvenir.
