Shanghai's First Toll Station Standardization Pilot Project Construction Plan Successfully Passed Expert Review

On April 28, 2024, the Expressway Transportation Management Center of Shanghai Urban Investment Highway Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. organized a review meeting on the "Shanghai Expressway Network Toll System Optimization and Upgrade Toll Station Standardization Special Pilot Project Construction Plan. Experts at the meeting listened to the report on the construction plan in detail, and believed that the overall structure of the plan was clear and logical, and it met the overall requirements for the optimization and upgrading of the road network center of the Ministry of Transport and the Shanghai expressway network toll system, and unanimously agreed to pass the review.
The special pilot project of toll station standardization is one of the key contents of the optimization and upgrading project of the highway network toll system, a key project of the road network center of the Ministry of Transport. Shanghai S3 Zhoupu Toll Station was selected by the Road Network Center of the Ministry of Transport in September 2023 as one of the pioneer stations for the standardization of toll stations in the country, and it is also the first pilot station for the standardization of toll stations in Shanghai.

This plan successfully passed the review, marking that the special pilot work for the standardization of toll stations in Shanghai has entered the construction and implementation stage.
