On August 17, 2022, the inaugural meeting of the Shanghai Internet of Vehicles Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Conference") was successfully held in Shanghai Motor Vehicle Testing and Certification Technology Research Center Co., Ltd. Chen Jiezhong, Director of Shanghai Communications Administration, Wang Tianguang, Deputy Director, Han Dadong, Director of Intelligent Manufacturing Division of Shanghai Economic and Information Commission, Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, Lingang New Area Management Committee and other relevant leaders, and guest representatives of 22 companies from the Internet of the Internet of the Internet of the Association attended the meeting. The predecessor of the Shanghai Internet of Vehicles Association was the Internet of Vehicles Professional Committee of the Shanghai Internet Association, and the secretariat of the special committee was located in Shangyan Zhilian. Since the establishment and operation of the special committee for more than a year, it has attracted more than 70 member units from automobiles, communications, the Internet, universities, and scientific research institutes, setting a precedent in the country and leading the industry. At the meeting, Chen Jiezhong, director of the Shanghai Communications Administration, and Wang Tianguang, deputy director of the Shanghai Communications Administration, made speeches respectively. Deputy Director Wang Tianguang pointed out that the establishment of the Internet of Vehicles Association can better play the role of a bridge between politics-industry-research-learning-use, and work hard to lead the ecological construction of the Internet of Vehicles industry in Shanghai. At the same time, it is also hoped that the association can actively help the car networking industry to improve the concept of network security, strictly implement the main responsibility of network security, and continuously improve the level of security protection, and earnestly do a good job in network and data security.
