The list of winners of the 2021 Shanghai Construction Project "Magnolia" Award (City Quality Project) was announced a few days ago. The rapid transformation project of Lianggang Avenue, which was built by Shanghai Electric Intelligent System Co., Ltd., won the Magnolia Award. This project is the first key project in Shanghai after the establishment of the Lingang New Area, the first new expressway, and the largest municipal infrastructure project so far. It will start construction in December 2019 and the main line will be opened to traffic in July 2021.
The Magnolia Award is the highest honor award for the quality of construction projects in Shanghai.Since its inception, the Magnolia Award has been to implement the policy of "a century-old plan and quality first" consistently advocated by the party and the state, adhere to the purpose of "promoting business with quality", and promote construction enterprises to enhance their quality awareness. it has the characteristics of strong authority, high standards and strict requirements. A total of 181 projects stood out in the 2021 selection.
The rapid reconstruction project of Lianggang Avenue, with a total length of about 25.9 kilometers, is located in the new Lingang area of Shanghai, starting from the new Siping Highway in the west, eastbound to S2 Hulu Expressway, and turning to Dazhi River in the north. The middle section (New Siping Highway-Dazhi River) has a total length of about 13.1 kilometers and the northern section (S2-Dazhi River) has a total length of about 12.8 kilometers. The project is connected to Pudong International Airport, the gateway hub of Asia-Pacific aviation, and the Yangshan Deepwater Port Area of Shanghai International Shipping Center in the south. It undertakes the G92 Hangzhou Bay Area Loop, one of China's six regional loops. It is an important part of Shanghai's "airport" and "seaport" fast track. It is of great significance for the new port area to speed up the construction of an independent comprehensive node coastal city and become a bridgehead facing the world.
For the first time, the project uses "5G digital twin" technology in the city-level governance platform, uses the communication framework of Thunder Cloud service, and transmits information such as traffic flow track and traffic flow statistics of the whole road network to create an intelligent transportation platform with "global perception, fine management, personalized service and interconnection.
The bottom layer of the digital twin platform map of Lianggang Avenue uses a domestic brightmap3d engine to build a 1:1 3D model of the whole road section, and other functions are based on the 3D model. The communication framework of Leishi Cloud Service uses the open source framework Netty to realize the transmission of information such as traffic flow trajectory and traffic flow statistics in the whole road network of Lianggang Avenue. Based on these data, it develops many functions such as real-time trajectory simulation of elevated traffic flow, ground holographic intersection (real-time trajectory), visualization of queue length at ground intersection, etc. Variable information equipment receives real-time equipment information using the communication preprocessing framework independently developed by the Electric Department and displays the current status in the three-dimensional map, including road congestion, lane control, ramp control, etc. After the bayonet passing data is accessed according to the Pudong traffic police agreement customized development program, the data is obtained from the traffic police detachment for display. Combined with the above functions, the digital twin of the whole section of the two-port avenue is realized, and a 1:1 simulation model is constructed according to the reality in the digital world, which truly restores all the information elements generated by the current two-port avenue.
