Almost every old driver in Shanghai knows that the Shanghai Traffic Corps at 38 Taiyangshan Road, Jing'an District, but at the beginning of 2019, according to the unified arrangement of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau, the office of the Traffic Police Corps of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau has been relocated to No. 5000 Yanggao South Road, Pudong New Area.

 

"Don't think that this relocation is just like the relocation of ordinary people. All supporting facilities, networks, servers, platform systems, etc. must be moved together!" Li Shengzhao held his finger to count the difficulties in the relocation process.

 

 

First of all, time is tight. In mid-December 2018, Shanghai Electric Power Intelligence received a task from the Municipal Traffic Police Corps to complete the relocation of the computer room by the end of February. Since this time period involves the Spring Festival holiday, the working time left for the project team members is less than two months. In two months, from the preliminary investigation and arrangement to the relocation to the final equipment debugging, it was tight and tight.

 

The second problem that cannot be ignored is the problem of equipment aging. In the preliminary investigation process, the members of the relocation project team found that there were even several servers purchased in 2008 in the computer room. These machines made some mistakes in the whole process, causing incalculable losses.

 

The third difficulty is the amount of coordination. In the process of computer room relocation, each processing step must follow strict sequence and regulations, and each step involves different manufacturers. This not only requires the precise arrangement of the project responsible person, but also requires the project team members to invest a lot of energy to coordinate in the early stage and the relocation process.

 

The last and most critical link is that the server downtime interval must be short, and the impact on the social service work of the Municipal Traffic Police Corps must be minimized.

22:00 p.m.

 

 

The last equipment of Li Shengzhao's followers came to Yanggao South Road, where Fan Jianwen, a member of the project team, and others were putting the relocated equipment on the shelves and powering up according to the plan agreed in advance;

 

 

January 16

 

3:30 a.m.

 

After the equipment is installed on the shelf, the network debugging shall be started after power on;

 

 

8:00 a.m.

 

Network debugging is completed, and the system is ready to go online;

 

 

9:00 a.m.

 

Each system shall be debugged one by one according to the sequence requirements;

 

 

21:30 pm

 

All systems shall be put back on line;

 

 

17 January

All systems are restored.

 

At this moment, the tense nerves of the project team members in the new and old computer rooms relaxed a little, put down their hearts, and went home to have a good sleep.

The most critical part of the relocation is finally over, but Li Shengzhao still can't forget it for a long time.

 

"A few days after the relocation, I didn't dare to go back to the old computer room on Sun Mountain Road, because once I got there, I couldn't stop thinking about the computer room relocation plan.

 

This kind of mood can also be felt from his circle of friends--

 

 

"It's really too much pressure! Such a huge workload must be carried by myself! As one of the main leaders of the project, I have been squatting at the site for more than 40 hours. Many colleagues in the project team also rushed to work all night and gave up their rest."

 

The entire project team members are under unimaginable pressure during this period of time, so that even if the project is over, they will exceed 100% of their investment in the project before, making them unforgettable and withdrawn for a while.
